Montana’s – Just Because ‘All-You-Can-Eat Ribs’

Because sometimes you’re just insanely hungry and want to eat nothing but meat…..

When: March 3, 2017 – 6:00pm (my significant other and I) – McOrmond Drive location

At a glance: Montana’s is a Canadian BBQ and bar chain restaurant but their ribs are amazing. Of course you can get steak, burgers, chicken, seafood, pasta, fajitas, salads, etc……but their pork back ribs are the best thing on that menu!

What we ate: All-you-can-eat ribs! I believe it’s around $33/person – with that you get a full rack of (tender, almost fall off the bone) pork back ribs, cornbread, and two sides (I had rice and veggies, he had rice and mashed potatoes/gravy), and then they continue to bring you half racks as many times as you want! You can choose from four sauces – my favorites are the Texas bold and the apple butter – the other two are honey garlic or chipotle honey (I’ve never had them – not so much for sweet).

Drinks: we both had a pint of Stella. Yum! Not too heavy…or light.

Honorable mention: the waitress was very friendly, usually you can’t take all-you-can-eat leftovers home but she let us take our minimal leftovers and she gave us each another half rack to take home!

Not so great but who really cares: Wine menu is limited and blah. It was busy (as always) and we first had to sit a small oddly placed table in the lounge but eventually we moved to a larger table by the window.
